Lucille Saetteurn: Your right..The laundry soap and the water mixed, creates the adhesion, and it lifts the dirt from clothes, it does mix with the soap, but alot of soaps out there, advertise that the laundry soap, desolves dirt and odor. The soap is rinsed off, and this leaves the clothes clean, and smelling fresh.Your doing great!!!Good Luck....Show more
