Elinore Schlinker: Well, a Best Friend to me is someone that is a family member you chose for yourself. Someone that you care for as much ! as you would a brother or a sister. You love them. And I don! t think they need that label. Sometimes that label is misleading and it can make others feel excluded, like someone has reached a level of friendship with you that they cant reach. So, its best just to call each other friends and who cares to what degree. It doesnt matter. If you want someone to know who they are to you- just tell them how they make you feel and why. Robt Betker: A best friend for me is someone you feel very comfortable with, someone you love and feel you want him/her to be always around you, someone you trust and someone you are not afraid to talk to about whatever and share your secrets. A friend only is someone you hang out, talk random, laugh together but you have the feeling you can't share serious matters with! him/her because they won't understand you and support you the way you need.
