If I were to say education is a pointless concept Would I have already proven myself wrong?

Coleman Coscia: Education has been made to a pointless concept by the materialistic forces. Adapting a policy of Survival of Fittest, today a man who has been educated in medical field (a Post Graduate Master degree holder) is stealing the innocent patient's kidneys for money. Today education is meant for earning money. We need the basic education of how to behave as a human being in a social sense.

Blair Abdi: No, you wouldn't have proven yourself wrong. But you wouldn't have "proved" anything positive either, because you provided no argument for the claim. You just assert it. In fact, say you do make an argument stating that education is pointless. If somebody claimed that your argument is wrong or false on the mere grounds that you have an education yourself and thus you are being hypocritical, then they are guilty of a logical fallacy called Ad Hominem....Show more

Derrick Kloke: You would need to provide evidence and formulate a rational argument to prove! that education is pointless. But in doing so, if you can even succeed in the task, you would have used education.

Antone Bual: Education is unavoidable, whether it be formal or natural.
