please help, questions on global warming!?

Riley Migl: Around the year 1000 AD the earth was much warmer than now. There are two unequivocal excavations of Viking settlements in Nova Scotia, where they grew grapes [much too cold now]. The Vikings also grew wheat on Greenland. In the 1500s there was a diminution of solar output [the Maunder Minimum] and the earth got a lot colder than today, including the 'year without a summer'.Of course, the above facts are politically incorrect and your teacher might not like them....Show more

Darrin Hixenbaugh: I would wikipedia global warming, but I do know that there will be many negative consequences if nothing is done. First and foremost, our icecaps are melting. They have been melting slowly for a long time, but recently the rate at which they've melting has increased. The level of the oceans will go up dramatically. This is only one of the consequences. There are many, many sites that show more. Just google/wikipedia it! :)

Jesse Japak: The natural climatic ch! anges that have occurred since the world began and that are continuing can not be even slightly impacted by the behavior of mankind. Just recall that a mere 14,000 years ago a mile thick ice sheet sat on top of northern North America and northern Europe.
