Luis Farlow: land lines do not text (well i think in the UK there might be phones capable of this, but for most of the world land phones do not text) it is likely that someone ported their land line number over to a cell phone... you can check the number at http://tnid.us/ to see who the CURRENT phone service provider is.., as well as the original carrier.. most sites that only provide info if it is a cell phone or land phone are only capable of determining the original phone provider.. this site will also provide CNAM info, so if the name of the person shows when they call someone, you will see their name as well......Show more
