Michel Mccaulley: I already know i need a new catalytic converter and O2 sensor, but now my car seems to stall if I don't have my foot on the gas or brake at all times. When I push the gas it just doesn't seem to wanna go, and when it stall's it starts right up again. Also, it's been running a little hot (like 1 line over 200) , and when i'm stopped at a light or something it's pretty shaky. I'm go! nna do an oil change, even though I just put 2 quarts in but i! dk what this stalling could be from. any ideas? Thanks.

Rashad Marecki: The car can run off the battery alone for a short while. Don't chance going out and doing all the other errands until the alternator is replaced. Also, if the battery has run down, make sure it is charged up all the way before starting it after the alt is replaced or you can damage the alternator again.
