Armanda Hertel: As a gamer guy with a wife who enjoys video games but doesn't play them much and therefore isn't very good at them, I simply take a completely different approach and play games that we don't have to compete against each other when we are playign together. games liek DDR (we ignore the scores and use it as an exercise routine), Gauntlet and similar games, even a few fighting games like Smash Brothers and Tekken Tag To! urnament that have co-op team play.
